After entering a valid payment method, a registration fee will be charged to you, which will be transferred to your user account as credit and can be used for rentals or subscription purchases.

During the registration process, you enter your mobile phone number with the international prefix, to which you will receive your PIN code via SMS. You also need to fill out the registration form and agree to the terms and conditions. For minors, it is necessary to provide or deliver parental or guardian consent to sales points in accordance with the terms and conditions. On the website or mobile application during registration, you choose your city where you will most frequently use the system (e.g., Celje, Šentjur, Nova Gorica, Zagorje, Ljubljana).

The general terms of use of Nomago Bikes systems stipulate that lending your user account is prohibited. By entering into a subscription relationship, you undertake to comply with the General Terms and Conditions and provisions of the automated bicycle rental system, which means that you are legally responsible for the bicycle. Therefore, we recommend that you do not lend your user account data.

In accordance with the general terms, the minimum age for bike rental is 14 years. For all users under the age of 18, we also require prior consent from a parent or legal guardian to use the Nomago Bikes system. Parental consent can be obtained at the sales point or spletu. With the contactless NomagoBikes user card, you will be able to easily rent bikes at terminals at bike stations and using smart mudguards on bikes. The card is linked to your name and is not transferable. Using the card, which has your NomagoBikes system user account loaded on it, is simple. Just hold it near the terminal at the designated spot below the screen and wait a few seconds, then enter the number of the desired bike and start the rental. Similarly, with the new generation of smart bikes, you can hold the user card near the RFID reader located at the designated part on the rear mudguard of the bike and wait a few seconds for the rental to start automatically.
Yes. You can link your contactless card, which you already use for intercity or urban transport, or other IJPP services, to your user account in the Nomago Bikes system by visiting a sales point of the system:

In case of loss or theft of the user card, it is necessary to report it immediately to our call center at the phone number +386 1 431 77 60 or to send a request for deactivation of the user card to the email address bikes@nomago.si. Deactivating the card does not deactivate the user account.
In case of card replacement, the new card needs to be linked again to the user account of the Nomago Bikes system. You can do this by visiting a sales point of the system:

In case of a traffic accident, it is necessary to report it immediately to our call center at the phone number +386 1 431 77 60. If an accident occurs involving not only the user but also other persons or material damage, it is necessary to immediately notify the police about the accident. If the user fails to do so, they will be held responsible for all resulting damages.
In case of bicycle theft during the rental period, it is necessary to immediately notify our call center at the phone number +386 1 431 77 60. Theft must also be reported to the police within 24 hours. A copy of the police report must be sent to the address Nomago d.o.o., Vošnjakova ulica 3, 1000 Ljubljana.
If you want to use the services in the Nomago Bikes system, you must be insured against liability for damage caused to third parties.

Yes. During registration, select the country and city where you will most frequently use the system, and after activating your user account, all bikes in the Nomago Bikes system are available to you. Local terms and conditions and pricing apply. The "nextbike" mobile application is available for free in the store Google Play in iStore.
The "nextbike" application enables easier bike rental and return, as well as bike reservation within the Nomago Bikes system. You can rent a bike by scanning the QR code marked on the bike or by selecting a bike at the desired station and choosing "rent." The application also allows you to check the availability of individual stations in real-time and keeps track of your rental history. You can also manage your personal information and payment method through the application.
Yes, but you need to wait at least 5 minutes. However, you can immediately rent another available bike.
After you receive a successful confirmation, you have three minutes to rent the bike (remove it from the docking station). If the time runs out, the bike will be locked back in the station. You can then rent the same bike after a few minutes.

The Nomago Bikes system allows you to return the bike using the provided lock even when all the docking stations at the station are full. If all the regular bikes at the station are locked with the lock to other bikes or to the loop of the docking station, you can still rent this bike. This also contributes to better flow and normal operation of the bike rental system. When you rent a regular bike through the terminal or mobile application, you will receive a lock code for the bike. You unlock the lock with the code and start the rental. When you rent a smart bike, the lock on the frame under the bike seat unlocks automatically.
A regular bike with a blue sticker on the rear fender should be placed in a blue-marked docking station or rack for regular bikes, while an electric bike with a green sticker should be placed in a green-marked docking station or rack for electric bikes.
When returning a regular bike with a numeric lock, it is MANDATORY to return the bike according to the instructions on the bike, into the available electromagnetic docking stations at the bike station. Once you return the bike to an available docking station, you don't need to do anything else at the terminal or in the app because the system automatically handles the bike return.
Only in the event that all docking stations at the station are occupied, use the provided lock and lock code received when renting the bike at the terminal or mobile app. Lock the bike to another bike (using the loop on the rear fender of the bike) or to the docking station (using the loop on top of the docking station). You MUST then manually check out using the mobile app or follow the return process at the terminal. In case of any issues, you can also contact the user support center at +386 1 431 77 60.
When returning a smart bike with an electronic lock, it is MANDATORY to return the bike according to the instructions on the bike, into the available electromagnetic docking stations at the bike station. Once you return the bike to an available docking station, you need to push down the lever on the electronic lock located under the seat. Successful return is indicated by a green light and a beep. The rental ends automatically.
If all docking stations at that station are occupied, you must park the smart bike between two locked bikes and lock it by pressing the lever of the electronic lock downward. The rental ends automatically.

Your bike is NOT PROPERLY CHECKED OUT. Classic bikes with a numbered lock must be returned to available docking stations by pushing them all the way in until you hear a beep and see a green light on the stand. Regular bikes should only be returned to blue-colored docks for regular bikes, and electric bikes should only be returned to green-colored docks for electric bikes.
When returning a smart bike to an available dock, you must also push down the lever on the lock located under the seat frame. A successful return is indicated by a green light and a beep. The rental will end automatically.

You can lock a regular bike with a numerical lock using the lock on the bike to the station by parking the bike between two locked bikes, unlocking the lock with the code you received at the beginning of the rental, and securing the bike through the rubber loop on top of the regular bike stand. Alternatively, you can lock the bike to the loop on the rear of the adjacent bike that is locked in the stand. Then, in the mobile app, mark the bike as returned by selecting the station and confirming the return. You can also mark the return of the bike at the terminal by following the return procedure and pressing the green checkmark at the end.
For a smart bike, you can park it between locked bikes at the station and lock it by pressing down on the lever on the lock under the seat frame. The rental ends automatically.

If there is no available free stand at the station, lock the conventional bicycle with the lock for the loop on the hitching point or to the loop on the rear of another bicycle and confirm the return at the terminal. Park the smart bike between two locked bikes and lock it by pressing down the lever on the frame lock under the seat. The rental of the smart bike ends automatically.
The mobile application requires access to the internet, so please check if you have a data connection enabled on your phone. To ensure smooth operation, it's necessary to regularly update the application.
