3. Bike rental, reservation and parking

You can rent a bike using a terminal, a contactless user card or the mobile app.

You can also reserve your bike before your ride if you wish. In the app, select the desired station and click the "Reserve" icon. Reservations are valid for 10 minutes.

If you need to take a short break or are running an errand, your bike can be parked temporarily.

In the app, select the "Rent a bike" option and scan the QR code on the bike. There is also an option to enter the bike number manually. The app triggers the unlocking of the bike, which is then available for use. Everything is ready to go!

In the KolesCE (Savinjska Region), ZaNaprej (Zagorje) and Go2Go (Gorizia Region) systems, you can also rent a bike via the terminal. The procedure is as follows:

  • Press the "Rent" button on the terminal
  • Enter your mobile number and PIN
  • Enter the number of the bike you want to rent (you can find it on the fender of the bike)
  • Remember your rental’s lock number
  • Pull the bike out of the rack

You can also rent a bike with a contactless user card. Renting is easy - simply touch the designated part of the mudguard with the card.

The bike must be parked in a visible location. When parking the bike, it is necessary to always use the lock installed on the bike. Rental minutes will continue to accrue in this case

4. Returning a rented bike

Rental bikes must be returned within the designated area of use, exclusively at one of the system's official stations as published online or on the mobile app.

Occasionally, we set up a temporary virtual station for returning and renting e-bikes. In such cases, you can simply park your bike within the designated station area that is clearly marked on the mobile app or a pillar on-site. To complete the rental, secure the lock beneath the seat.

When returning the rented bike, it should be placed in a docking at an official station of the system. Insert the bike into the docking point until you hear a beep, and for additional security, further secure the bike by using the smart lock on the bike frame.

If there is no free docking at an official system station, you can still return your bike using the electric lock. Park the bike next to one of the bikes parked and manually secure the lock on the bike frame. The rental will complete automatically.
